[Though she doesn't think the woman is actually going to do anything to her for telling Hypnos it doesn't mean it isn't playing on her mind a little and would likely continue to do so for a few more days. Hypnos can take care of himself, though, and so can Jane if pressed to do so. Caster might find that she has more surprises up her sleeves than might be expected.
She can hear the annoyance in his voice as he continues speaking, and gently tugs on his hand to pull him to a stop. He is far, far too tall for her to catch him by surprise (she thinks) but she tugs again and tips her head up until he gets the idea and leans down so she can kiss him.
Right there in the middle of the street. In public.]
[ He stops in his tracks at the tug on his hand. She catches him by enough surprise at the offer that even when he leans in to kiss her, he's still a little flustered and the blush is bright on his cheeks. His ears are even a little hot, he notes. He had tried to calm down, really. He doesn't like being agitated by things, especially things that involve someone who he'd call family. He wants to move on. Jane wants him to move on, too. At least right now.
But it was still so fresh that he has to just push it back for now, he thinks. He doesn't want to ruin a date with Jane because he's upset about someone else. He likes who he is with. He likes her a lot, actually. So he takes the signal, and for the first time he can think about - he leans down to press a kiss to her lips. His hands move, pressing to cup her cheeks in his hands. He feels...
Happy. Anger and frustration fully washed away. He's never had someone want to kiss him out in public before. Of course, he's not really experienced people wanting to kiss him at all. When he finally pulled away. ]
[She smiles warmly up at him when he pulls away from her, and digs a hand gently into his soft hair for a moment as she goes up onto her toes to press another quick, gentle kiss to his lips.]
Oh? [Jane says, tilting her head a little with slightly widened eyes. She would very much like to forget the incident with Caster as well - all of it. It has no place in her spending time with Hypnos.]
Is that a bad 'oh' or a good 'oh'.
[As much as she has a feeling she knows which, she still can't resist teasing him a little.]
[ She's right to think she knows the answer to that question. He likes her a lot. He knows, even if he were to try and tease in return, the smile he has would tell everything. He rests his hands on her cheeks. ]

[ It's easy to be so earnest with her like this. She makes it easy. Finally, he steps and takes her hand again. ]
[She smiles and when he takes her hand, lifts it to her lips to press a kiss to the knuckles. As she does this she smiles and blushes, because somehow it feels more scandalous than actually kissing him did.]

[That said, she doesn't think she could do much at all to offend Hypnos. He's very obvious about how much he likes her, and so laid back he might as well be horizontal. Both things that she likes about him.]
